"Who will care for our loved one when I'm gone?"

Inspiration Village answers the question caring family members dread.

As medical professionals
and parents of a child with
intellectually disabilities,
David and Connie Price
have a unique understanding
of the challenges and rewards
of teaching and caring for
special people.

A SPECIAL PLACE FOR FAMILIES

Whether impaired from birth or as a result of illness or injury, most adults and adolescents whose cognitive disabilities preclude fully independent living depend on parents and other family members to get through each day. It's often a full-time job.

While not a skilled nursing facility, Inspiration Village provides a safe place for these special people to live, learn, work and grow - emotionally, socially and spiritually. Among their peers, in a nurturing, non-judgmental atmosphere supervised by people who appreciate their unique gifts.

In an effort to share their experience with, and compassion for these special people, in 2005 David and Connie Price founded Inspiration Village as a Non-Profit 501 (c)(3) to provide a loving, nurturing home for mentally-challenged adolescents and adults to create a family environment, in  a ranch-style atmosphere.

Both Day and Residential programs are designed to teach each individual to master as many life and job skills as their physical, mental and/or behavioral disabilities will allow.

A Legacy of Caring
H.B. Halbert
Physician, Father, Friend
April 25, 1933 - March 11, 2011

As a physician who truly cared for his community and a father who deeply
loved his intellectually-challenged son,
H.B. Halbert was among the first and most generous supporters of
Inspiration Village.
Compassionate to the end, his
final request of those wishing to honor
his life was for charitable donations to
be made in his name to the non-profit endeavor nearest and dearest to his heart, Inspiration Village.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
