LIFE SKILLS
Though not always fully attainable, the goal is always self-sufficiency. We work with each family to assess the needs of each student, and teach them the routine life skills necessary to become as independent as their physical, mental or behavioral disabilities allow.
SOCIAL SKILLS
The indoor instructional activities and supervised recreational experiences provide opportunities to interact with both staff and peers in ways the encourage appropriate behavior, and help them enjoy the camaraderie of others and gain an important sense of belonging.
JOB SKILLS
A variety of specialized activities combined with daily ranch chores such as caring for animals and tending gardens
enables intellectually challenged people to develop the individual discipline and group behavior necessary to become productive contributors to their communities. This range of positive training experiences teaches them to focus on the many productive and rewarding things they are capable of doing, rather than worrying about those they are not.
