While not a skilled nursing facility, Inspiration Village provides day and full residential programs for individuals who may require assistance with basic self-help skills, as well as those individuals who require minimal assistance to live more independently.
Inspiration Village serves those with mental retardation, related conditions such as autism, downs syndrome as well as traumatic head injuries resulting from strokes and accidents.
The following are general guidelines for admission eligibility:
16 years of age or older
Primary diagnosis of developmental disability or cognitive challenge
May be in need of some assistance, supervision, or Guidance in daily living
Able to ambulate independently or with minimal assistance
Able to participate in daily living and therapeutic activities
Behavior cannot pose a threat to the safety of self or others
May have interest in maintaining employment on site or in nearby communities
All prospective residents are reviewed by an Admission Committee on a case by case basis to ensure our ability to effectively meet the needs of each individual.
